Ally Sheedy Bio

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, an American actress from the United States. In 1983, Sheedy debuted on screen in Bad Boys. Later she was part of the Bratpack and was also a part of WarGames The Breakfast Club Short Circuit. Sheedy was awarded an Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead for her role in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art. Sheedy got married to David Lansbury on April 12, 1992. The actor was the father of Edgar Lansbury who produced Godspell and was the cousin of Angela Lansbury. The couple has one son, Beckett who was born in 1994. Beckett is a trans-man from whose transition Sheedy claims she has had a great experience. Alexandra Elizabeth Ally Sheedy, born June 13th 1962 in New York City, is an American stage and film actor. She has also written two books. Her most well-known work is her performance in the Bratpack film The Breakfast Club. The Breakfast Club is the name given to the John Hughes film. The reason behind the film's title "The Breakfast Club" originates from a name certain schools use for detention. Most likely, the students are getting up early for the time of breakfast.
